Gold Lake Out & Back

Gold Lake Out and Back is popular because it provides a lot of options for distance and elevation gain as well as quiet roads and beautiful scenery. Here’s what it looks like from my Polar data from a 2009 ride.

When we have done this as a group ride the majority of the group has turned back at the Gold Lake boat ramp, while others have turned around at Salmon Lake. The Gold Lake group has met the Salmon Lake group again on the ascent to Yuba Gap from Bassetts.
